The Night Circus

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern is a magical, wonderful book.  I was entranced by the creativity of the different types of tents described as part of the circus.  I also found the romance to be touching.  I was emotionally invested in the characters finding a way to make things work out between them.

The Body Finder

I just completed reading The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting.  I loved this book.  I think the romance is very sweet and realistic.  It made me miss dating in high school.  (Why did dating after high school have to get so complicated???)  Not only was the romance portion of the book good, but the main plot kept my interest.

In fact, I enjoyed this book so much that I promptly bought the second book in the series for my Kindle and finished reading it as well - Desires of the Dead.  I only gave this book 3 stars (4 stars to The Body Finder).  But even though it wasn't as good to me as the first book, it made me very much look forward to the 3rd book - The Last Echo, which doesn't come out until April 2012.
